Making a B2B brand look native to the creative industry it serves
When I joined GRIN, the influencer marketing platform had strong technology but lacked the visual identity to connect with its creative community. The brand leaned too heavily on a tech-focused aesthetic for an audience of creators and marketers, limiting awareness and differentiation in a crowded market.
My approach
Lead a comprehensive rebrand that repositioned GRIN from a utilitarian platform to a creative, community-focused solution. I evolved the visual system with vibrant colors that worked cohesively across all channels, removed juvenile illustrations, and replaced stock photography with authentic creator lifestyle imagery. The rebrand launched internally first across customer summit materials, sales enablement assets, and produced case study videos to ensure adoption before rolling out externally.
The impact
The refreshed brand identity transformed GRIN’s market perception and built genuine connection with the creative community. The cohesive visual system elevated brand recognition, strengthened customer engagement, and positioned GRIN as the preferred platform for brands serious about influencer marketing.
